I'm still working on Gabble but my attention was mainly on Herald for the last few months. There's also a small iPhone app I want to write so that will probably come before any other major Gabble updates. 1) is on my list to fix, but 2) and 3) I don't think I will add since they're kind of out of scope.

Hi Erik,

Are you still working on Gabble? Seems to have been a while. We live in it.

Big things for me

1. Fix bug so active conversation goes to the top in thread view
2. Allow it to autohide like the dock. I run Gabble all day on the right hand side of the screen. To able to mouse over and have it appear would be great
3. (Biggie) Add Skype presence and calling/chat. Anyone on Yammer is probably on Skype.

Cheers

I love Gabble !
I find it almost perfect ... the best Yammer client for sure :-)

Some important missing features (for me) :
- Preference to check for new messages more often than every 2 minutes
- Search feature
- Ability to use menu item instead of dock item (need more space there)
- Show messages for a user

And there seems to be a small bug in Gabble : I am in GMT +1 timezone (on yammer.com admin, yammer.com profile and on my computer). But Gabble shows GMT +0 hours for messages ...

Lovely program!
A few notes and suggestions:
- I can't get Growl notifications to work. Gabble shows up in Growl''s app list and it looks to be correctly set up, but still no joy. (I'm still on 10.5)
- Make tags in messages clickable
- Expand unread replies in threaded view
- Allow very long messages to collapse (as on the web)

Yammer has had a few updates today. Main feature missing from Gabble for me now is sorting in thread view. A new reply should push the post up to the top otherwise you miss the reply in Gabble (when in thread view).

Cheers

I can second that. I can't get it to launch without crashing. If you need any info Erik (stats about my machine, etc) that could help drop me an email.
