I’ve released a new iPhone app called Banker. It lets you keep track of your MONOPOLY® board game money electronically while you play so you don’t have to use paper money. Available now in the App Store for $0.99!

Chess960 Generator Released

I’ve released a new iPhone app, Chess960 Generator, for randomly generating Chess960 board positions. It’s got a bunch of great features, like showing you valid castling positions, creating boards from the standardized position IDs, a description of the rules, and more. I personally use it every day to set up our incredible Chess960 battles at Pattern Insight. So if you like Chess960 go check it out!

Herald 2.0 Released

Herald 2.0 is out! The biggest change is that Herald now requires OS X 10.7 Lion (though the old Herald 1.3.2 is still available for download by Snow Leopard users). There are also a few other smaller enhancements, including message flagging and automatic updating. This new update is free as always, so go get it!

Gabble 1.5 Released

A new version of Gabble is out, with so many great new features I had to skip 1.4 and go directly to 1.5! Enhancements include support for Yammer’s new threaded view, “liking,” autocompletion of tags and user names, server-side search, and more! A new version of Herald is out with several great enhancements, including an attachment indicator, an option to show the notifier while Mail is the active app, and some important bug fixes. View the full release notes here. You can update from within Herald itself by going to “About” in the preferences and clicking “Check for Updates…”, or download the installer package from the Herald page.
