Interests

Computers

I have a BA in Computer Science and Math from Dartmouth College, and a MS in CS from University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. I've worked at Sandia National Labs and I was the lead UI developer at Pattern Insight, a data-mining and search startup that was acquired by VMware. At VMware I helped lead the UI development for Log Insight, an easy to use, high performance log management and analytics tool. From there, I joined ezhome as the lead UI/UX engineer. After ezhome I joined my favorite company, Apple. In my spare time I've also designed and developed several Mac and iOS apps.

Kicking

I was the placekicker and punter for Albuquerque High School and Dartmouth College. In 2001 I was the first-team USA Today High School All-American kicker. I hold New Mexico state records for most field goals in a season (17) and a career (28). I also hold the Albuquerque High School record for longest field goal (55 yards).

Cello

I play cello and have performed in the Albuquerque Youth Symphony, Dartmouth Symphony Orchestra, and University of Illinois Symphony Orchestra. I'm currently a member of the Mission Chamber Orchestra of San Jose. I've performed in Popejoy Hall, Chicago Symphony Center, and in concert halls in Mexico, Germany, Prague, and Spain.
